Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21
Anyone who assiduously practices meditation knows how necessary it is, periodically, to give quality time and space to meditation practice.
That is why we propose a weekend dedicated to intensifying the practice of meditation on the four immeasurable thoughts, through the guidance of the Casa Virupa meditation instructors and the sessions of teachings on samatha by the resident teacher of Casa Virupa, Lama Norbu.
The practice of the four unlimited or immeasurable thoughts It is a technique typical of Tibetan Buddhism and it aims to develop in us an altruistic thought and unseat the egocentric dynamics of our ego. It allows us to cultivate benevolent love, the genuine desire for beings to be happy, as well as compassion, the state in which we recognize the suffering of others and want them to free themselves from it.
During the sessions in which there is no live transmission, we will propose a routine to maintain an attentional state beyond the cushion of meditation.
** This activity can be complemented with another intensive meditation practice in calm of mind during Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of February. More information here.
