Teaching on the Twelve Links of Dependent Origination
The twelve links imply that, when certain conditions are present, they give rise to later conditions, which in turn give rise to other conditions; thus illustrating the cyclical - and karmic - nature of life in samsara. Understanding how the twelve links of dependent origination operate is essential for anyone who wants to fully understand the Buddhist worldview.
How does it work
This weekend it will combine theoretical explanation sessions on the twelve links of dependent origination with proposals for seated meditation to integrate learning and calm our mind. It will also be combined with karma yoga or conscious action, a way to activate attention in any gesture we make.
