forays into dharma:
when the muses found
buddhism
Wednesday 15 April - From 6.30 p.m. to 7.45 p.m.
Buddhism has interested, either tangentially or in depth, some of the eminent figures of Western thought: since Schopenhauer, Nietzsche or Simone Weil in philosophy, going through Jack Kerouac and the beat generation or Federico García Lorca in literature and poetry.
In this workshop We will explore what forays into Buddhism some of these great intellectuals made. For this we will analyze some of their texts, we will see what inspired them from the Buddha's teaching, what relationship it had in his work and in his life, as well as what aspects of Buddhism they understood (and which they did not).
